Upcoming scenes will see Stacey Slater receive an injury to her back from her
mother, Jean. With Stacey clearly struggling, Jean begins to worry about the
severity of her wound, but Stacey insists she's fine.
When Kat sees what has happened, she questions if Jean should be back in
hospital to receive the treatment she clearly needs.
During a conversation with Kheerat Panesar, Stacey opens up and reveals what
happened to her back, but things take a worrying turn when she collapses in
front of him.
At the hospital, Kheerat is concerned that Stacey could be developing sepsis,
so he reveals to the doctor what happened between her and her mother.
When Martin arrives at the hospital, both he and Kheerat are relieved to hear that Stacey received treatment in time to stop the infection progressing.
By her hospital bedside, Kheerat reveals his feelings towards Stacey and asks
if she'll officially be his girlfriend, but sadly their happiness is
short-lived.
Stacey is fuming with Kheerat after learning he revealed to the medical team
what happened between her and Jean, which led to them sending out a mental
health nurse.
Back in Walford and the Slater family are trying to comfort a distressed Jean
who has locked herself in the bathroom as the mental health nurse arrives.
What will happen when Stacey arrives home?
