As we head slowly into the summer, EastEnders a setting up some almighty
storylines, but there are also a few which will come to a conclusion.
June will also make history as Prince Charles and Camilla will make a guest
appearance in an episode to mark the Queen's Platinum Jubilee.
Here's a look at some of the big storylines that will play out in June.
Walford's Royal Visit
We knew Rocky had some special contacts in his phone book, but who would have thought he will be responsible for bringing royalty to Albert Square.
Speaking of the episode which will air next week, Emma Barton who plays Honey
Mitchell explained: "What an honour really. I'm thrilled to have been a
part of this memorable day. A complete first in the land of soap."
Charles will be seen greeting the locals outside the famous pub which is named
after his great-great-great-grandmother, Queen Victoria.
Ash's Big Secret
Ash Panesar will make her return to Walford in the coming weeks, and she's coming home with an almighty secret.
It's not long before tensions rise between Ash and Suki, but Suki knows her
daughter is hiding something.
Soon afterwards, Suki makes a discovery which leaves her gobsmacked. What is
Ash hiding from her family, and what has she been up to since she left
Walford?
Trouble for Zack and Nancy
There have been a few signs that Nancy and Zack's relationship would be heading for trouble, especially when he went behind her back to issue her mum with an ultimatum over her drinking.
This June will see the couple, who are going into business with each other,
face stresses as they start working together. Also, an upcoming twist will
cause further cracks in their relationship. Can they survive?
Lewis Receives a Warning
June will also be a big month for Ben Mitchell as he starts to open up to his family over what really happened between him and Lewis.
Lewis is shocked when he receives a warning, but in a worrying twist he turns
to Callum for help.
Stuart's Struggles
Recent scenes see Stuart Highway finally open up to a devastated Rainie about being unable to bond with their son, but next month viewers will be happy to see Rainie step in and help her husband with his struggles.
Shortly afterwards Vi will discover what's really happening with her grandson.
Will she help or make the situation worse?
The Truth is Out
As we explained above, Ben will open up about his sexual assault, and one of the first people he reveals the ordeal to is his mother, Kathy.
Kathy is heartbroken to hear what her son has endured and vows to help him
through it. Speaking abut Ben revealing the truth to Kathy, Max Bowden
explained: "With Kathy, there's obviously that commonality and the fact that
she was raped by James Wilmott-Brown. There's also a brotherhood with Jay, who
can see through the mask as well. The people who know him best star to see
something's not quite right."
Shocking Accident
As we revealed earlier this week, Janine Butcher will be left in a panic in upcoming episodes when Linda plans to expose her to Mick Carter.
As Janine tries to stop Linda, there's life changing consequences which end in
disaster.
