EastEnders: Ben Mitchell's Behaviour Sparks Concern Next Week

Viewers were left devastated for Ben Mitchell following his rape after Callum broke off their relationship, unaware his husband was attacked by Lewis.

Next week Rainie Highway lays in to Ben over his apparent cheating on Callum, and Kathy expresses her concerns about Ben to Rocky.

Viewers will also see Kathy confide in Jay Brown over Ben's recent behaviour. Actor Max Bowden who plays Ben revealed recently that Ben's mum Kathy will play an important role in the storyline.

"There's been a kind of missing link for a while with Ben and Kathy, as there's been so much emphasis on the relationship between Ben and Phil for years that we've missed a lot of the Ben and Kathy elements that keep them fresh," he told Digital Spy.

The actor also explained how important it is for viewers to finally see the rekindling between mother and son: "They are a wonderful little pairing and I adore working with Gillian [Taylforth]. They actually have a lot more in common than they realise, personally, I think maybe more than Ben and Phil." he said.
