Linda Carter is currently walking around with a whopping £50,000 in her pocket, but that's about to change when the Queen Vic landlady tries her hands at something new.
Next week Denise Fox reveals to a shocked Lola and Jada that she is planning to sell the salon, explaining she thinks she's found a buyer as Nathan has started to show interest.
Kim is devastated by the idea, but she's unaware her sister is being blackmailed by Sam Mitchell. However, when Linda Carter overhears the conversation, she realises this could be a potential money maker and suggests she invests in the salon to save Denise from selling it.
Later, Linda and Denise make everything official and sign the relevant documents making Linda a co-owner of the business.
Speaking about Linda's decision to invest in Denise's salon, actress Kellie Bright explained: "One reason she wants to do something with the money is she knows she needs to keep busy, a focus to stop being tempted with drinking. Which is positive in terms of how her recovery is going at this point."
EastEnders air these scenes next week on BBC One.
