It's safe to say Walford isn't the same without Phil Mitchell, who is
currently serving time at Her Majesty's pleasure, but fear not Phil fans as
EastEnders has revealed a new storyline is kicking off next month.
New teasers for the next couple of weeks reveal Phil will face his biggest
challenge to date as his life hangs in the balance.
From Monday 4th July, Phil will make a "lethal enemy" in
prison, but DCI Keeble once again offers Phil a way out.
Unfortunately it could all be too late as soon afterwards some devastating
news reaches Albert Square.

Monday, 4th July (first episode):
There's trouble brewing as Mitch's estranged brother, Avery, arrives in Albert
Square. Phil makes a lethal enemy in prison, but Keeble offers him a way out.
Stacey gets a reality check.
Monday, 4th July (second episode):
Phil receives a sinister warning, Mitch refuses to give his brother the time
of day, and Mick tries to support Linda ahead of an important meeting.
Tuesday, 5th July:
The clock is ticking for Phil – can anyone help him? Linda takes a big step
forward, and Mitch sees his brother's true colours.
Thursday, 6th July:
Some devastating news hits Albert Square. Kathy struggles to keep her family
together as tensions boil between Ben and Peter.
What happens to Phil? Will he be okay? More details to follow.
EastEnders airs on BBC Two from next Monday (27th June) and all episodes will
drop on BBC iPlayer from Monday morning.
