EastEnders Reveals Rainie's Decision to Leave Walford

EastEnders aired some of the most heartbreaking Stuart and Rainie Highway scenes last week as the new dad handed his baby back to Bernie Taylor.

Just when Rainie seemed to convince Bernie to hand Roland back, Stuart got himself arrested after he attacked Billy Mitchell in the market.

Upcoming scenes will see Rainie receive an ultimatum from Bernie via Dotty Cotton, explaining she can have her son back if she leaves Stuart.

Unaware Stuart overheard the conversation, Rainie is shocked when her husband admits he wants to end their marriage.

With his bags packed, Stuart heads to the Vic where he's confronted by Karen Taylor who scolds him for the way he's treated his son, but Patrick steps in and suggests there might be more to it.

After another run-in with Karen, Stuart spends the night on the bench in the gardens, but the following morning he discovers Rainie is planning on leaving Walford for good.

Desperate to get Stuart on the right track, Karen urges him to go and speak to his wife before it's too late. Will he listen?

EastEnders air these scenes next week on BBC Two and on iPlayer from Monday.
