Long-time fans of EastEnders will remember way back in 2003 - yes NINETEEN
years ago! - Alfie Moon crashed the wedding of Kat Slater and Andy Hunter, and
now new details surrounding Alfie's return show history is about to repeat
itself.
Spotted filming on location, the EastEnders cast are seen smartly dressed as
Phil prepares to tie the knot with Kat Slater.
A gobsmacked Kat is pictured in a long-sleeved beaded wedding dress as she
spots the father of her children arrive at the church.
Kat is then seen climbing into Alfie's van where the pair have a heart-to-heart. Later, the bride is pictured with her gown covered in filth. What has she been up to?
An insider told
The Daily Star: “Alfie makes a surprise appearance at the wedding and causes chaos.
After Kat sees him, she jumps in the van even though it’s really dirty.
“It means her wedding dress gets completely ruined. Things get messy in every
sense.”
“It looks like Phil will be stood up on his wedding day.” the insider said.
Speaking of his upcoming return to the soap, actor Shane Richie
said: “It’s an absolute honour and privilege to be asked back to my TV
home.”
