Many of you have said you feel EastEnders is back on top form in recent
weeks, with many dramatic storylines playing out on our screens, and that's
going to continue into next week as we get another action-packed bumper set of
episodes dropping on Monday.
Next week will see Phil Mitchell continue in his plan to find and confront Lewis, his
son's rapist, but there is one man in Ben's life who remains in the
dark about his husband's attack. Could we see Ben finally open up to Callum?
With his little sister betraying him, and his upcoming wedding to Kat Slater,
Phil really has hit the ground running since his release from prison.
Viewers will also be thrilled to see the return of two much-loved characters to the soap as Stacey stumbles across her mum working in a holiday park, but she's not alone as it's soon revealed she's staying with Big Mo.
The holiday is a last-minute plan after Stacey remembers she has a holiday to
use up, one she booked before the pandemic. After both Martin and Kheerat
decline her invitation of a getaway, she later finds herself going away with
both of them!
The scenes will feature around Jean's guilt over her recent bipolar episode, but Stacey explains she's not leaving the holiday park, and returning home without her mum.
Meanwhile back in Walford, Suki will have her own problems to deal with when
business partner Ranveer makes it obvious what he expects as part of their new
business deal.
As things escalate throughout the week, things take a dramatic turn when Suki
is forced to defend herself against slimeball Ranveer and smashes him over the
head, leaving him laying lifeless on the floor. Has she killed him?
Two more characters who haven't been seen on our screens for some time will make an appearance next week when we head over to the Vic, and things between Mick, Janine, and Linda are getting tense.
With Linda back on her feet, her heated relationship with Mick seems to be
cooling off as the pair are back on friendlier terms. Unfortunately, this
annoys Janine who is still being cautious about the prospect of Linda's memory
of her accident returning at any moment.
Over at the Highway's and Stuart is still struggling with his post-natal
depression, especially since the departure of his wife, Rainie. Will anyone around him convince him to get the help he needs?
With many upcoming departures from the show, we would expect to see the
beginnings of these storylines kicking off any day now. We have Stuart
Highway, Mick Carter and Dana Monroe leaving us, and of course
Lola Pearce's tragic death later this year.
EastEnders airs next week on BBC One and BBC Two. All episodes will be
available to watch from Monday on BBC iPlayer.
