EastEnders star Samantha Womack, who played viewer favourite Ronnie Mitchell, has revealed she is currently battling breast cancer.
Sam took to twitter yesterday to offer her condolences to Grease star Olivia Newton-John, who sadly passed away following a thirty-year battle with the disease.
Writing on twitter, Sam said: "This was the most magical of evenings. Olivia and Chloe had come to see Grease in London and we had dinner together afterwards. I was so excited and in awe, she was my childhood. I now start my own battle with this disease and am left feeling deeply moved."

After revealing the news of her own diagnosis, Sam has gone on to receive overwhelming support from fans, and we would like to take this opportunity to wish Sam all our love and strength in her ongoing fight. Kick cancer's butt, Sam!
