Viewers have been speculating about Alfie Moon's secret ever since he arrived back in Walford last month, but his secret is set to be exposed in traditional EastEnders fashion.
Alfie has been on a mission to win back Kat Slater, but his ex-wife refuses to entertain any of his advances. Next week Alfie will be pushing his luck once again when Freddie Slater comes up with a plan to win her back.
Kat's reaction to the grand gesture is not what Alfie was expecting, leaving him devastated. Kat insists all she cares about is their friendship and nothing more.
As Alfie tries to repair any damage to his relationship with Kat, he asks her out for a drink at the Vic, but sadly for him things take an unexpected turn.
During their drink, Kat is gobsmacked when a woman walks in and reminds Alfie he is getting married the following day.
Alfie instantly tries to defend himself, insisting the woman who burst into the Vic is not the woman he's marrying, but urges Kat to visit his fiancé which will explain everything.
EastEnders are keeping quiet about Alfie's real bride, and the reasons behind the upcoming wedding, but by the end of the week Kat is advising Alfie to sort out the mess he has made.
