Glynis Barber is returning to Walford at Christmas and/or New Year and we are pretty sure she has some catching up to do with her daughters Ronnie and Roxy. There has been confirmation by EastEnders and they have credited her on their site.
Glenda Mitchell, the mother of Ronnie, Roxy and Danny Mitchell, left EastEnders in 2011 after she exposed Phil for having an affair leaving Shirley to bully her out of Walford.
Glenda had slept with Ian Beale and Phil Mitchell before being accused by daughter Roxy for stealing a ring. Glenda always protested her innocence and it was revealed that it was Phil, although Roxy still thinks her mother was the thief.
The South African actress is best known for her role as Sgt. Harriet Makepeace in the British police drama Dempsey and Makepeace,
What do you think, would you like to see Glenda Mitchell back? I mean, it would be a fantastic storyline to get all the Mitchells back together, to stand up to the corrupted police working hard to take down the family.

There only looks like about 10 years difference between then!

ReplyDeleteYes! Glenda is a fantastic character, the kind of tongue-in-cheek bitch that 'Enders needs!
