Babe initially came up with the plan for Abi to fake her pregnancy after Ben was planning to leave her. We're not sure if Babe sees herself in young Abi, and not wanting to see history repeat itself, or is Babe just a nosey whatsit?
We reported the other day that after a one night stand, Ben may have an STD which will stop Abi genuinely falling pregnant. Lorna who plays Abi explained in a recent interview that Abi is “vulnerable”, which is why Babe is able to dig her claws into her.
"She went along with Babe's idea and only later realised the repercussions,” the 19-year-old soapstar told Radio Times. “Abi now realises that she has to get pregnant. “It's the only thing that will make her dream come true.”
We all know about Babe's dodgy background with her baby career she had back in the day but Abi has no idea. Lorna added: “She's very scared because she knows that Ben doesn't want to be with her anyway. “She wonders if she can actually go through with the plan, so expect lots of anxious acting.”
It is unknown if Babe will force Abi down other routes to fall pregnant. Speaking about Jay and Abi, Lorna said: "Jay was her first boyfriend and he dumped her for Lola, so she never really got over that.
"I think that's why she's so eager to stay with Ben because he's the closest thing she will ever have to Jay. Everyone loves Jay - they all want Abi and Jay back together."
I just don't why Babe is helping her do this. Suppose she's just a twisted individual. Her past track record with babies isn't very good. Babe gives me the creeps!
