After just one year, Jonny Labey who plays Paul Coker is set to leave EastEnders. The actor will go out with a bang.
Jonny is already booked up for his next acting role and the decision for him to leave was made a while ago. An EastEnders spokesperson said: "We can confirm Jonny will be leaving the show later this year. We wish him all the best for the future."
An insider revealed to Digital Spy: "Jonny is leaving in a couple of months as part of an explosive storyline. Bosses are keeping tight lipped about what's in store but there's plenty of drama in store for Paul before he leaves."
We personally think this is a shame, Jonny is a fantastic actor who was given very few storylines. Some fans will feel a little let down, the ones who have waited this long for Ben and Paul to finally be a couple. We would like to wish him the best of luck in the future.

Thia is stupid!!
ReplyDeleteWe Waited so long for him and Ben to get together and now he's leaving in a few months!! Eastenders should be ashamed they are going to loose viewers, the more characters they kill off or exit eastenders will be shit
It isn't enders getting rid of him, he is leaving for another acting job..
DeleteHis character was boring anyway He had hardly been in a story line
ReplyDeleteGoing to miss him. Wishing you all the best Jonny.
ReplyDeleteIf he'd been given more actual storylines he might have stayed. Another under utilised good character. they are just leaving left, right and centre at the moment. It took far too long to get him and Ben together.
