EastEnders have today confirmed that Harry Reid, who who has played Ben Mitchell since 2014, will be leaving the soap.
Within the next few months, Harry will start filming his final scenes.
Harry is the fifth actor to play the part, arriving back in Walford on 22nd September 2014. It has not yet been confirmed if Willmott-Brown's son Luke, will play any involvement in his exit.
Harry has had some high profile storylines since his return from prison. He fathered a baby with Lola Pearce, fell in love with Paul Coker, and of course there was baby-gate with Abi Branning. Viewers have recently started to enjoy seeing his funny side with flatmates Jay Mitchell and Donna Yates.
With no date confirmed, it is thought that Ben's final scenes will air in early 2018, we will of course keep you updated. Lets hope Ben has a happy and peaceful send off . . . . alive!

Will be really sad to see Ben leave. He was a jerk to begin with, but has turned into a really nice lad. All the best for your future Harry Reid. From a huge fan in Namibia, right in the South West of Africa.

ReplyDeleteSuch a shame! He's a great actor the best version of Ben there's been! But I hope they don't kill him off so maybe he will come back one day? I hope its a happy send off maybe him & Luke get together and move away or he will go traveling or something I dunno just hope its a happy one and he's alive!
