Next week, Phil Mitchell is left confused when Dennis becomes distressed as he spots the gang that tried to abduct him. Completely unaware of what happened, Phil questions Keanu to find out the truth.
Still remaining tight-lipped about the situation, Keanu insists that nothing happened, unfortunately Karen innocently drops her son in it when she returns Dennis' mended jacket to Phil.
Phil furiously marches Keanu to his house where he demands that he and Sharon tell him the truth about his step-son.

Phil takes his anger out on the young mechanic and sacks him, but as the argument becomes more heated, Keanu stuns Phil by standing up for Sharon. After things settle, Sharon pleads with Phil for them to sort the situation out.
Feeling confused about her feelings towards Keanu, Sharon heads off to get some advice from Linda, admitting that she has feelings for a younger man.
Later, Keanu asks Sharon if she would like to go for a drink, but she's shocked when Phil reveals that he's booked them a trip to Spain.

As she prepares for the holiday with her husband, Sharon is shocked once again when Keanu turns up to speak to her, but she sends him away wanting to focus on her marriage.
