Phil Mitchell Heads Home - Here's What Happens Next

It's fair to say the affair between Sharon Mitchell and Keanu Taylor earlier this year divided viewers, but one thing we can be certain of is the drama it has created in its wake.

The only person to have discovered the truth about their affair, and secret love child, is Mel Owen. As she ramps up her plan to expose the truth, Sharon and Keanu begin to panic, especially when Phil announces he's coming home early.

Phil tells Sharon he's returning after receiving a call from Mel who told him that his wife is selling E20.

Sharon instantly goes into crisis mode when she realises Mel is planning on telling Phil the truth about the baby.

Sharon pleads with Keanu to get Louise out of Walford, but her plan backfires when Louise tells Keanu that she knows about Mel's surprise party and insists on attending with Sharon.

With the party underway, Sharon keeps an eye on the time and sneaks out to meet Phil at the airport to get herself out of trouble.

It's not long before Sharon realises that Mel is in pursuit, but the pair will briefly join forces when they are pulled over by the police.

When they manage to get rid of the police, the pair make a race to the airport. Sensing she can get the upper hand another way, Mel phones Billy and asks him to be put on loud-speaker for everyone to hear!

EastEnders are not revealing if Mel manages to expose Sharon and Keanu's affair to the local residents, but it has been revealed that the car chase will take a dramatic turn when Mel is involved in a horrific crash.

With Tamzin Outhwaite leaving the soap next week, will Mel make it out alive?
