Ricky Groves played Garry Hobbs

 

Ricky first appeared in EastEnders in September 2000, he played unlucky in love Garry Hobbs, until he found love with Dawn Swann in 2009.

Since leaving the soap 11 years ago, Ricky has appeared on a number of television shows including Strictly Come Dancing, Celebrity Coach Trip, Masterchef, and Britain's Got More Talent.

Ricky also had roles in Crime Stories in 2012, Two Days in the Smoke in 2014, and most recently TV series Going Forward.

Preeya Kalidas played Amira Masood

Preeya played Amira Masood between 2009 - 2012. The beautician had a rocky relationship with her father, who believed her fiancé Syed Masood was not good enough for her.

After the discovery that her husband was gay, Amira left Walford, only to pop back briefly with her daughter to try and get her husband back. When she realised how solid his relationship with Christian was, she moved to Birmingham. 

What some of you may no know is Preeya is a musician and has already had six singles released over the years, a number of those after she left EastEnders.

Since leaving Albert Square behind, the actor has gone on to star in a number of television shows, including Casualty, Bollywood Carmen, and New Blood. In 2019, it was announced that she would play the role of Miss Hedge in the hit musical Everybody's Talking About Jamie from 19 November.

Kierston Wareing played Kirsty Branning

Bafta Award winning actor Kierston Wareing appeared in EastEnders for a little over a year, becoming one of Max Branning's many wives.

Since leaving the soap, Kierston has continued to have a long line of work. Going on to star in Hollyoaks, The End of the F***ing World,  Avengement and Cardboard Gangsters.

Kierston also has a busy couple of years ahead with movies Ghetto Heaven, Morning Shine, and Looking for K all in pre-production.
