Well firstly, as we've said many times, Fatboy's body was never actually seen on-screen, the only confirmation was Vincent's say-so and Fatboy's trademark 'F' pendant.
Okay, now imagine he's still alive. Before his departure from the soap, Fatboy had a one-night-stand with Vincent's sister, Donna Yates. After admitting to a devastated Donna that he wasn't interested in a relationship, Vincent set out to make his life hell.

At one point Vincent locked Fatboy in a cupboard overnight, and when
he's released the following day, a petrified Fatboy revealed that his mother
used to lock him in a cupboard as a child.
Finally, Vincent warned Fatboy that if he didn't leave Walford for good, he would physically hurt his friend, Dot Branning.
So could Fatboy still be alive? Of course he could! - With Vincent's warning ringing in his ears, viewers will remember that he would do anything for Mrs B, including cutting all ties with her.
Now here's where it could potentially get exciting . . .

We all know by now that Walford legend June Brown left the soap after
revealing she felt she was no longer getting any good storylines. Close friend
John Altman ('Nasty' Nick Cotton) also revealed recently the actress would
return if the storyline was right.
So maybe the soap writers could kill two birds with one stone and bring the pair back to Walford together?
On-screen Dot is currently living with her grandson Charlie in Ireland, so whether the reunion could happen on or off screen is another debate, but once Fatboy knows that Vincent and Claudette left Walford some time ago, that would open up the opportunity for him to come home.
Maybe a future storyline (on location) could see Fatboy cross paths with a current character like Phil Mitchell, Ian Beale, Whitney Dean etc, all characters who know him.

Definitely being him back. Someone finds him via someone else and brings him back and Whitney and him happy again. As Whitney could do with some luck and happiness!

ReplyDeleteI think it would be great to see him on the square I was saying just last week he should be brought back but I think a storyline like someone in prison speaks to jags and finds out about his brother being in love with chantelle and what he thinks gray has done that person also hear Whitney is getting close to him and know Fatboy from where he is now gets message to Fatboy and he calls dot he has been in contact with her while she's been away but no one knew of this they return together to save Whitney and help bring gray to justice ... Dot is Whitney's family after all

ReplyDeleteBring Fatboy back. He did not deserve an ending like that. He was such a great character. I was so upset to see him go. Now, with all the new characters coming on and some of the older ones slowly leaving. Familiarity would be excellent.

yes bring them both back in a one off special of dot getting a phone call from tiff about Whitney which then brings dot back in her travel home to save Whitney she finds her self seeing fatboy and convince him to come back to help her save Whitney

If the hole storyline with ronie and the car falls down then I'm sorry but no you have a completely new storyline and forget the old one yes there was no body but you could have it that he managed to get out some how or it was someone else in the car instead that makes more sence

ReplyDeleteFor all we know, only the "F" necklace was seen assuming that the body was indeed his , when he may not of even seen the face and it could possibly have been someone else ... maybe fatboy killed them in defence and his chain just ended up there by accident... who knows 😉
No one is ever dead on Eastenders unless you see the body with your own eyes so anything is possible. There has been a few characters that have come back from the ‘dead’ so why not one of our favourite characters. Was sad to see Fatboy go so please bring him back
