Bailey Baker will tug at the heartstrings of viewers when the young character takes centre stage of heartbreaking scenes.
Next week, as Lola and Isaac enjoy another date, they notice Bailey walking home from school looking very upset.
When the pair discover she's sad because of Mother's Day approaching, they try their best to cheer her up by suggesting she gets involved in the school science competition.
After a triumphant day with Mitch, Karen and Isaac, they all arrive at the Vic to celebrate, but Bernie arrives with some sad news.

Bernie reveals to everyone that their beloved dog Bronson became ill and got worse throughout the day, leaving them to make the heartbreaking decision to put the dog to sleep.
As everyone reels from the upsetting news, Bailey is hit hardest as she's already trying to cope with the loss of her mother, and Chantelle before Christmas.

Speaking to Digital Spy about the upcoming scenes, Lorraine Stanley who plays Karen said: "I think she really feels for the fact that she has lost her mother, and the fact that Karen feels guilty because she knew that Bailey's mum wanted to end her own life.
"So when there are things that can be done to support Bailey and encourage her, she always 100% will go the extra mile and is very protective of her. I think they have a good relationship, and Bailey cares about Karen too." she said.
