It's safe to say some of Phil's closest loved ones were surprise to see him walking down the steps of Peggy's nightclub last week, especially after they were given the news of his murder in prison. But that doesn't stop Phil from being ready to take charge in all aspects of his life next week.
Sharon, Kat and Sam were all devastated by the news of Phil's apparent killing, so it's understandable the three women will be fuming after his deception.
Next week sees the first episode of the week pick up from where we left off, and Phil makes a speech about his mum to the partygoers. From the sideline Sam is watching on worried her big brother will discover what she's up to.
As Kat and Phil catch up, she reveals she was about to sign the bar over the Sam, just before his arrival, but Phil insists he's back and will take control of everything.
As Phil tries to get his relationship back on track, he's saddened to hear Kat has moved back to No.31 with the Slater's.
Despite everything he tells her, Kat insists their relationship is over. Turning to Sharon, the pair talk briefly before he's called away by DCI Keeble who reminds him of his responsibilities to her.
Later, Sharon goes to check on Kat to make sure she's okay, but it's not long before tensions rise and Kat tells Sharon some home truths.
After her argument with Kat, Sharon is surprised when Phil shows up and asks her outright if she was being honest about still being in love with him.
