If you thought the Slater family would be cut some slack after their recent dilemmas, you would be wrong. Soap bosses have revealed what's in store for the Slater family, and it's going to be tough!
Executive producer Chris Clenshaw has set out what's to come, with the upcoming winter months set to be trying for the Slaters.
With the cost-of-living crisis hitting those less fortunate all over the country, Chris said the Slater family will have a troubling time ahead: "Just like a lot of people in the country, they are going to find it very difficult this winter. And I don’t think Martin will ever get over Stacey." he told Inside Soap.
Asked if Kat Slater will ever reunite with ex-husband Alfie Moon, Chris explained it won't be happening any time soon: "Deep down, Kat will always love Alfie – but there's so much dirty water under that bridge and, no matter how much she loves him, I don't think she can go back there at the moment."
